Most of our day today was spent travelling by train from Prague to Vienna. Travelling by train has to be one of the most comfortable, relaxing ways to move between locations. We sat back in our spacious seats, watched the lovely scenery go by, ate the lovely railway food served to us in our seats (they even had a GF meal) and cruised into Vienna in 4 hours. It was very nice not to have to deal with an airport.
Vienna seems huge and very busy. The traffic is full on. We have a very nice apartment with loads of space. The downside is that the neighbourhood is not the nicest. Mind you, after Prague, everywhere is going to look a little shabby.
Tomorrow, we will buy our travel pass so we jump on the tram or subway to get to the sites we want to visit.
