We headed south today to see more family in Cobh. We took a quick side trip to Midleton. Our destination was Hurley's SuperValu Supermarket. You wouldn't think a supermarket would get a mention on a European holiday but this supermarket has to be seen to be believed. It has it all including a great range of gluten free food. We wanted to stock up before heading to Prague on Monday.
Next, we headed to St Colman's Cemetery in Cobh to meet my cousins Veronica and Peter. We had a look at some family graves and then headed back to Veronica's place for lunch. We met Veronica's husband, Mick and her son Connor who we haven't met before. Once again, the Irish sun smiled on us as we sat in the back garden and ate and drank and talked for hours. It was great to hear that both Veronica and Peter and their other halves will be visiting Australia next January. Hopefully, we can return the hospitality.
Back to Cork late in the day for our last night at Gabriel's Guesthouse.
