Ian had the idea of a stopover in Waterford en route to Dublin so we headed in that direction. Unfortunately, I made have made a bad gluten free breakfast choice because we were forced to make an urgent stop just outside Waterford. A nap in the car sorted me out and we ploughed on to the Maldron Airport Hotel in Dublin.
Believe it or not, the beautiful spell of weather we enjoyed in our week in Ireland ended today and we had some showers.
We are on an early flight to Prague in the morning so tonight is our last night in Ireland. We have all loved our time here. It feels so much like home to us especially with so many lovely extended family members who were so hospitable and welcoming. Each time I come back to Ireland, I feel a little bit more settled here. If we were to ever stay here for a long period, it would be in Cork. It is the place where we feel most comfortable.
Sorry, no photos today. There wasn't much to share today. I'm sure there will be lots from Prague tomorrow.
